Company history

Fliesen Kauhl was founded in 1985 as a single company and was converted in 1986 to a limited liability company (GmbH). The company Robert Kauhl has grown continually since it was founded. The first registered office was in the city centre of Geilenkirchen. A 500 square metres warehouse and a first office were completed in 1994 after procuring a building site on the Industrial Estate of Fürthenrode. Today the warehouse with space for 212 pallet places provides the facilities for attractive purchasing and the necessary storage, both enhancing our customer service with regard to keen prices and quick availability of the working materials.

In 1998 our 280 square metres modern exhibition building was completed. There we exhibit a wide selection of mural and floor tiles for all application fields. The staff has grown too, starting with 2 persons (in 1985), with now 8 tile layers and 3 additional employees.
